Hello, I’m Crissa and welcome to my site! ::waves:: I’m so glad you’ve decided to visit, and if you want to stay up-to-date on various goings-on, books and other random details of life (including adorable cat pics of Her Majesty, The Ruler of the House), please subscribe to my newsletter.

The edge of space is the only place Ana feels safe.

I am a liar. And a smuggler. And a thief.
I used to be someone else — a different face, a different name. A different life.
But no matter how long and far he chases me, I’m never going back.
There’s a big, sparkly universe to explore.

Ana loves her life at the edge of the black. The echoing, metal corridors of their ship, exploring stunning planets and the freedom in the stars. Her crew is her family. And as long as they stayed out of government-controlled space, they were safe.
Or so Ana thought.
But Ana’s not the only one hiding dangerous secrets. A crew member vanishes along with evidence of Ana’s past life. A violent infection reaches into the stars, spreading horror and chaos, bringing old nightmares back to life.
Ana’s past may be the only way to protect her crew’s future…

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Crissa Hollis originates from the edge of known civilization — in other words, a small middle-of-nowhere town in West Texas. She was born in the late 1980s and grew up on dreams of unicorns, the Wild West, and far-off, fantastical worlds. Nowadays, her cat and husband help her dreams by walking on the keyboard mid-sentence and providing light-hearted distraction like video games and philosophy. She loves killer robots with good intentions, zombies with brains and (fictional) explosions — oh, and coffee. Obviously.

Her Majesty, Ruler of the House, Princess of the Yellow Chair, Milady of the Keyboard and Boss of All She Sees. Occasionally allows her human to type instead of petting her. In these circumstances, her human must write about cats. And those cats are loosely based upon Her Majesty, of course. When nap time is over, so is word-time, because her human must resume petting the Princess. When the fancy strikes, she will pilot the keyboard and address the Internet.
